Do we ever stop..
Was talking to a dear friend the other day and said how much I love Internet and my BB etc. I can reply so quickly to people, tweet and do so many things so quick! Although Internet has brought less good things too I still really like what it has done to the music business for example.
She said: " Ye, but the thing is do we ever stop working"?
Hm very good point! I know I don't stop much at the moment. I`m on holiday and yet I almost bring my phone to bed so to speak and spend very many hours on the pc. I just think thats what you have to do if you want to get somewhere.. Well off for a trip tonight and it will be so lovely!!! Lets swich of for couple days!

Inside was very cosy and posh at the same time. Busy of course so got asked if I could wait 40 min... No sorry so hungry.. "Well if its OK to sit outside there is space" the waiter said.
And man, that was the best spot in the whole place. Nice clear view of the kitchen like a little show, free entertainment out in the street(Brighton ;)), and sitting at the high side table made out of dark wood with the lovely weather felt like being back in NY. Amazing service and the freshest fish I have ever had.Fried king prawns, spicy sausage, sashimi that melted on my tongue(Salomon, scallops and squid), chips and oysters slipped down with style! Mmmmmmm.....

DeLatin Sound
One of the things I love about http://www.delatinsound.com/ is that we are pretty different to other Latin bands in the UK. Latin rhytms meet funky bass and soulful vocals to name a few things. Language mistakes
You know how you always hear funny stories about language mistakes... I never thought I would be part of a new one being created!
The background facts you need to know are:
-The C-word is the most offensive word in the British English. And if you spell it with a K it means "edge" in Swedish.
-We all know the word for "loose person" and when you spell it "slatt" it means the last little bit of your drink in Swedish. Very confusing...
So, three ladies from my Swedish family are over for a visit. We are cooking and I am clearing glasses, food etc and one of my cousins says: "Ah did you take my glass Sanna, I just wanted my "slatt".
In about two seconds she realize what she just said, I crack up and Dave looks a bit scared. What are those crazy Swedish women talking about?!
We are on the train on our way up to London. My auntie has got her elbow on the train table. The train makes a little "bounce" and she slips. She says fairly loud in Swedish: " Oh I sliped off the "kant". And I go: " Ahhhh dont say that word out loud!
Even though the spelling is different it sounds very similar. If you find this funny please do spread it!

Remixes
Starting to uploading my acapellas for download on soundcloud must be the best thing I´ve done so far! Getting so amazing remixes back. The one I uploaded today just came back with one remix. That must be the quickest ever when it comes to my stuff. And its really rocking electro!

Music genre
Just got the question: "What´s your main genre you sing over"? And the answer was: " I don´t say no to any genre, as long as I feel the beat I will sing over it."
I reacently put on my facebook wall: "what´s your favourite genre at the moment?" Got great respons and someone asked the question back. Well I always seem to come back to house although I love jazz, db, dubstep, 90`s hip hop, disco.....
I find it so interesting that people do limit themselves. For one don´t you get bored of a genre? + you really limit your audience. I was really trying to take peoples advice and stick to a couple of genres and the more time has gone I have realized I can´t and won´t ha ha.

Oh my god its summer!
Someone I met yesterday said: "Ye us britts, we think this is the start of summer and it will last till September but we know its not going to be like that.."
Well cant we just enjoy what we have now? Of course it will rain and be cold again and what the h*** just be happy now! We could use some rain though, its very very dry.
Asked people yesterday on my wall on facebook if the prefer free lance or being employed. Got couple different answers. My answer was pretty clear as I was sitting on the beach in between classes yesterday in bikini and shorts...
