I keep hearing so many different opinions about this and its soooo interesting! Some "old school people" keep saying its all a mess and that too many people are in it only for money and to get girls etc...
Others really dislike all the singing shows that are on now.
When I meet a new person they very often say: " Ah you are a singer, that must be so difficult bla bla..."
Hm you know what I think...?
That there are loads of people out there with talent, some of them need those shows to get out there because they could not find another way. Some are so lazy and just bitch bout it all because they don't wanna get up their ass and do something about their talent and think doing a show would be "sell out"
There are so many ways of making money in music now days and I am not ashamed anymore to say I want to and to have it as my full time job.(and I am getting there, yay!) Maybe I should write a book about how I have done it...hm...Or shall I just tell it all here??
And about it all being difficult, hm I think it just takes a lot of work and "stubbornness". Someone I spoke to the other day had a good point as well: " Why should it be easy and why not go for it because it might be a bit of work?"
Also, we do have doctors still and people who wanna become one. Why is it like this with arts?
